BRATTLEBORO, VT โ€“ Get ready to witness one of Vermontโ€™s most thrilling traditions as the 103rd Annual Harris Hill Ski Jumping Competition launches into action on February 15-16, 2025, in Brattleboro, VT. This two-day event will feature world-class ski jumpers soaring over 300 feet from New Englandโ€™s only Olympic-sized 90-meter ski jump, thrilling audiences with breathtaking flights at speeds nearing 60 mph.

Each dayโ€™s events culminate in a Target Jump Competition, with a cash prize awarded to the jumper closest to the landing hill’s TSSD Services logo. Saturdayโ€™s PEPSI Challenge and Sundayโ€™s Fred Harris Memorial Tournament showcase competitors vying for the prestigious Winged Ski Trophy, awarded to any jumper who wins the tournament three times.

This year, the competition features a robust international pool of jumpers, including men and women from Norway, Slovenia, Poland, and the U.S., many of whom will also compete in the Junior World Championships in Lake Placid leading up to Harris Hill.

Harris Hillโ€™s ski jumping legacy dates back to 1922, when Fred Harris, founder of the Brattleboro Outing Club, envisioned creating a world-class venue. Over the years, Harris Hill Ski Jump has hosted 18 national and regional championships, making it a cornerstone of American ski jumping history. In 2022, over 8,000 fans celebrated the jumpโ€™s 100th anniversary, cementing its place as a cherished Vermont tradition.
